1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup baking cocoa
Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until well incorporated. Stir in vanilla. Sift flour and cocoa together and fold in to butter mixture.
Butter a 10-inch pie plate and sprinkle all over with sugar. Pour in brownie mixture. Microwave on high until top is just dry and center is set--about 5 minutes. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
